Danielle speaks at advocacy events, and share Jon’s story in support of meaningful change. She wants to educate the public about what is actually happening inside of corrections facilities here in Michigan so that it does not happen again.

legislative work
Danielle is continuing to meet with state and federal lawmakers and their staff about prison conditions, accountability, and the barriers people face when they return home.
She feels its important to get in front of the people making decisions about our prisons to hear from families who have lived with the consequences.
When legislation connects to Jon’s experience, Danielle carries her brother& his story into those conversations.
